I wanted to like this movie but unfortunately, I just couldn't feel anything but loathing for the apes. I know that the story leads to the demise of humanity. That's a given. Well, I wanted them all to die. That ruined the movie. Humanity ends in destruction and there's nothing left but retard human "cattle" and apes bounding in the grass. That sucks. I don't know if I would recommend this movie or not. I'd say skip it if you are in any way an optimistic person. If you hate all people you've ever run into and have no children, then go for it What do you have to lose? You are already extinct.

None of these ape movies have been any good. But i knew it was doomed in the opening scene when an entire patrol is stumbling in a file through a draw then stumbles on their target. Does no recon, sets up 0 security and engages. Rotc cadets know that isnt how you do a raid. From then on just a mess. It was like they were shooting scenes loosely based on each other. My fav: the girl cries when the big ape dies. She had no, none, 0, nada connection, to it and based off 1 scene where he puts a flower in her hair less than 10 min later hes dead and she bawling. You could say shes a girl death is traumatic, blah, blah. NOPE! We meet this girl as she walks out and looks at dads dead body and doesnt even flinch. While instantly bonding with the ape that handed her her doll. Shes got daddy issues. Shes gonna grow up to be a prostitute. Too bad she lives w apes... Thats the sequel. She gets knocked up by an ape and they struggle to get by in their post apocalypse world... 💩
