It's an interesting twist, but I don't think it really added to the original. Rent it, and even better if you get a reduced rental fee, but I would pass on purchasing.

Despite a few good moments (including Veruca's dad standing up to his daughter) and some decent voice acting (especially from Jess Harnell as Grandpa Joe), this film comes off as more of a cash grab for both Willy Wonka and Tom and Jerry.

Just like the emoji movie, nobody wanted this. It's just the original willy Wonka movie with Tom and Jerry in the backround. Also this movie has really weird faces.
