About this movie

It's been two years since Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) stopped himself from a regrettable act of revenge on Purge Night. Now serving as head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), his mission is to protect her in a run for president and survive the annual ritual that targets the poor and innocent. But when a betrayal forces them onto the streets of D.C. on the one night when no help is available, they must stay alive until dawn…or both be sacrificed for their sins against the state.

Pointless, uninteresting action. Movie could've been filmed with no dialogue and lost no "luster". Other movies felt like citizens against an overbearing government and highlighted separation of class. This movie felt like it targeted specific races and religions, which is a classless move in today's society. Series went from an interesting concept to hate fueling propaganda

This movie tells a little lore about the new founding father and then (SPOILER ALERT) kills them all off in a very satisfying ending. I love political movies and I love horror movies. This is the best of both worlds. This movie isn't for everyone, but for me, it was excellent. There were some parts of the movie that left me going "really", but other than that, good.

This movie is one of the worst in the series. The franchise went down hill here. There was such a chance for it to be.... decent... but fell way short. The acting seemed faked and forced. Blame falls on script writers. Rent this title at library or if like me, ya bored n don't care what's on.
