I love Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings Trilogy movies! The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy is still one of the best movie trilogies ever made in cinema history. Sir Peter Jackson has done a very magnificent job in adapting J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings Trilogy books to the big screen. The landscapes and scenery of New Zealand are so beautiful. The plot is very well written and is easy to follow. The movie dialogue is splendid with breathtaking elven language, epic battle speeches and many of Tolkien's memorable quotes from the books. The costumes, armor, weapons, props, movie sets, and the One Ring are very well crafted by the film crew. The action and the battle scenes are epic and perfectly executed. The special effects for the Balrog, the trolls, Sauron's Eye, Gollum, the Watcher in the Water, the ents, the mumakil, The Great Eagles, Shelob the Spider and the fellbeasts are incredible. The locations and movie sets for the Shire, Rivendell, Lothlorien, Rohan, Gondor, Moria, and other Middle Earth settings are gorgeous. Peter Jackson has choose a very wonderful crew with talented actors and actresses for their roles in the Lord of the Rings movies. Sir Ian McKellen was perfect in his role as Gandalf. No one can replace Sir Christopher Lee as Saruman the White. Eliijah wood is very good and gifted in capturing Frodo Baggins' character very nicely. Sean Astin was born for the role as Samwise Gamgee with a very well done performance. Dominic Monaghan as Merry and Billy Boyd as Pippin make for a wonderful duo. Viggo Mortensen was a great choice for the role as Aragorn. Orlando Bloom pulls Legolas off perfectly by pulling off the character's bowmanship and many movements. John Rhys-Davies is brilliant and hilarious as the dwarf, Gimli. Liv Tyler is ethereal and breathtaking as Arwen Evenstar. Hugo Weaving as excellent in his role as Lord Elrond. Cate Blanchett captures Lady Galadriel perfectly with a wonderfully deep and emotional voice. Ian Holm literally is Bilbo Baggins. Sean Bean is perfect in his performance as Boromir. Andy Serkis was perfect in providing a great voice for his role as Gollum. Bernard Hill, Miranda Otto, Karl Urban, David Wenham, Alan Howard, Craig Parker and everyone else were very excellent in their roles. Howard Shore is a musical genius in composing beautiful songs and music scores and creating a soundtrack that clearly captures the magic and the essence of Tolkien's world of Middle Earth. This movie series is a true masterpiece in terms of storytelling, encompassing the full spectrum of emotions. Undoubtedly the best trilogy in cinematic history! The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Forever in Our Hearts!

Beware! This IS the remaster, BUT is not actually playing back in 4k HDR when played from Google TV (Nvidia shield pro 2019) or when cast from mobile, despite being LABELED as 4k on both. BUT if you link your Google TV library to movies anywhere, you can access the remastered version through movies anywhere. Seriously needs to get fixed. This remaster is tremendous, and as someone who's willing to pay more for an upgrade, I just wish there weren't so many hoops to jump through
