Ratings and reviews

These don't live up to the Lord of the Rings movies, but they're still good. I would say that An Unexpected Journey is only a half-step down from LOTR, while Desolation of Smaug is good when Legolas isn't on screen. Battle of the Five Armies should have been called The People of Laketown and the Battle of the Five Armies though.

Im just thankful that the director really wanted to live up to the books. People panning it just don't realize that NO movie will ever do justice to a book where you use your imagination versus seeing it..... plus of course you have people giving a terrible score but it has nothing to do with the movie... complaining about the price, or the bundle, etc, thats BS and only brings down the score to what are, really good and pretty close to the book....

The 3 movies separately costs $10 each. But the bundle cost $44?. Math doesn't adds up.
