About this movie

Trouble-prone teen Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of school -- but that's the least of his problems. The gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters seem to have walked out of the pages of Percy's Greek mythology texts and into his life -- and they're not happy. Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Now, Percy and his friends must return Zeus' stolen property and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

IF I COULD GO LOWER I COULD. I AM A HUGE FANGIRL OF THIS BOOK. AND I WILL TELL YOU 5 OF THE BIGGEST THINGS THEY GOT WRONG. 1- ANNABETH IS A BLODE WITH GREY EYES. In the movie she somehow turned into a brunette with the weirdest eyes there like a light yellow and ugg. Then in the second one she somehow has bolde hair and almost grey eyes. Whats up with that they did not even look at the book. 2- GROVER IS NOT BROWN PEOPLE. 3- In the casino they were supposed to be playing games Grover was supposed to play man hunt, Annabeth was supposed to do this building game, and Percy was doing Zeus knows what. 4- Does anybody see the guy with all the eyes. (I forgot his name I am so mad) HE IS NOT EVEN THEIR UGGGGGGGGGG. 5- PERCUS JACKSON DOES NOT BATTLE ANNABETH CHASE IN CAPTURE THE FLAG. THEY WERE ON THE SAME SINKIN TEAM. 6- WHERE IN TATURUS IS CLARRISE PERCUS JACKSON BATTLED HER IN CAPTURE THE FLAG BREAKING HER ELETRIC SPEAR. 7- In SEA OF MONSTERS ANNABETH DOES NOT DIE, SHE BROKE HER RIBS AND IF YOU DONT MAKE THE THIRD ONE BETTER................ THIS MOVIE IS A DISGRCAE TO HALFBLOOD EVERYWERE AND YOU GUYS REINED PERCY JACKSON THE BOOKS ARE 110% BETTER THAN THE MOVIE. IT COULD WIN ANYDAY. Oh btw Percy has longer hair not a military cut 😠😠😡😬😠😡😡😬😡😡😬

They completely butchered it. What is an excellent book is now a horribly disappointing movie as well. They left out Clarisse, added a fight scene between an evil Luke (who isn't discovered to be a traitor until he and Percy are back at Camp Half Blood) and Percy as they fly around skyscrapers, and to make it even worse, every single actor somehow manages to not fit into the character description. And don't even get me STARTED on Grover! I don't want to sound racist, but Grover isn't black. He's super white. He's like the satyr version of Shaggy from Scooby -Doo. But every actor looked nothing like they were supposed to. And Percy is supposed to be in middle school, not college, as the actor who played him probably was. Overall just an awful movie. Lord knows how they even made a second one after this disaster. Here's a tip. Read the books. Never watch the movie. Life will be SOOO much better. I'm seriously going to throw up if they attempt to make a 3rd.

This movie is a terrible adaptation to the book. Even if it was it's own thing it is still not good. 1 Annabeth is a daughter of Athena not Ares, in this movie she acts 75% Clarrise. YOU CAN NOT CUT OUT CHARACTERS AND THEN CHANGE ANOTHER CHARACTERS PERSONALITY TO BECOME THAT CHARACTER!!! This movie cut out many major events and they made Grover so cocky. Where in the book he was the shyest thing. Also, they should not have put in Gabe for the 2nd time think of how much important things they c
