...me biting my bottom lip, fists clenched, oh that was watching this! AM made art & horror & wonder that was worn (still) by the wealthy fashion geniuses themselves. No one wore or loves him that is a dull, wonky turd. McQueen! To see the footage, hear his vox & have such an intense feeling from second 1 thru the last scene~ I'm elated that such a doc exists on thee ONLY such genius of avante garde, subversive, dreamy that ever graced this humble planet

A really well made and engaging documentary about this troubled creative genius. Blending both old and new footage with some great interviews we get a real sense of where McQueen came from and how he developed. If you're interested in the subject or just want to watch a very well made film, this is for you.

The day Lee Alexander McQueen passed, I cried. It was great to watch his rise in design and luxury fashion. This documentary was wondrous to watch showcasing his collections and insight into how his creative mind worked.
