About this movie

Jason Momoa takes no prisoners in this intense action-thriller. When Joe (Momoa) and his father (Stephen Lang) arrive at their remote hunting cabin, they’re hoping for a quiet weekend. What they find is a stash of heroin, hidden in the cabin by drug traffickers. When the criminals suddenly descend upon the cabin, Joe and his father must make a kill-or-be-killed stand for survival.

Personally, I rather enjoyed the movie. Yes, the writing could have been a little better thought out. However, anytime you can get Jason Mamoa in a role where he wields any type of tool or weapon is a bonus. Rather than, playing a role where he is lusted after; he was shown in the role of a man, trying to gap the bridge between father and son, a loyal, faithful husband and geniuine, kind-hearted, protective father. I think the fact that no one in the family took a cowardice stance was 5☆ acting.

I enjoyed this movie immensely I like seeing Jason play roles like this it makes him feel more real. They could have used a better actress to play opposite him because who knows who this woman was. All in all this movie was definitely one of Jason's best due to the fact that a movie had a tasteful, yet dynamic plot. It really needs 5 stars but that 1 star is empty because they needed someone else to play his wife.

Bad writing, bad cast, boring story. Jason Mamoa is a better than average actor, but he needs to be out of the snow. That limits his athleticism. Im glad I just rented it, because I would have bought it, and probably just deleted it. Just wait till this is free....IMO
