An supprisingly funny movie. This movie is very similar to something like Grown Ups 2 (All star cast and Sex jokes), but it's actually funny. The only reason this movie works as well as it does is the great cast who actually have (Comic or romantic) chemistry. It's just a good movie. It's not a masterpiece, but it's still really enjoyable 8/10

I am 50 years old and I thought that my life would be over. But it is actually just began in a way LOL The Awakening that comes at 50. This book club is so incredibly on point I loved every moment of it I like the fact that everyone wasn't Barbie doll skinny I like the fact that there was realism to it and that at whatever size or shape you can find someone who will love you and appreciate you at that age and sex can be very real and stimulating maybe better than it was at younger ages. I think Andy Garcia got better looking with age. I appreciate this movie

This film is a crime against older, intelligent, sexual women. There isn't anything wrong with people over 40 reading Fifty Shades but there is something very wrong with making them these one dimensional characters that no one cares about. If the screenwriter gave any kind of thought into what women this age actually say instead of worrying what the audience might like to hear then this movie would have been a lot more enjoyable. Wonderful actresses in a terrible film.
