Steve Liskow

Steve Liskow is a member of both Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime, and serves on writing panels for both groups. He is a contributor to Now Write! Mysteries, due out in December 2011 from Tarcher/Penguin. His short stories have won Honorable Mention for the Al Blanchard award twice, and "Stranglehold" won the Black Orchid Novella Award and appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. "Hot Sugar Blues" will appear in Vengeance, an anthology edited by Lee Child for the MWA, in spring of 2012. A former English teacher and actor and director, he also conducts frequent writing workshops in Connecticut, on both fiction and playwriting. His previous mystery Novel, Who Wrote The Book of Death? appeared in 2010 and he will publish the next book in that series in 2012. He lives in Connecticut with his wife Barbara and two rescued cats.
