Irene Duke

Irene Duke (Mashpee, MA) is an adjunct professor at Massasoit Community College, where she has established and teaches the American Sign Language program. She is also a sign language consultant, ADA advisor, and a professional instructor for school systems public and private. She also establishes onsite ASL courses, workshops, and lectures throughout New England. Her areas of expertise are ADA compliance, early education, special needs, and medical sign language. She is the mother of a profoundly deaf adult son and strives to bring about awareness of the various applications and benefits of sign language.
