The Devolution has ceased communication with all the Ministries on Earth, and there’s no way for the members of the Ministries to get off Earth. They are on their own and being hunted by murderous Earth assassins. Avigail, Quinn, and Kingsley will have to go up against a large group of assassins in order to get answers about their current catastrophic predicament.
