Korean has its own alphabet, known as 'HANGUL(한글). They are made up of consonants and vowels, and anyone who wants to study them must know and memorize the structures and shapes of each letter, as well as grasp the procedures of joining a consonant and a vowel to speak the alphabets combined. In Korean, there are two numbering systems. This book discusses the number that began with Koreans a long time ago. They have distinct pronunciations and can only count from 1 to 99. '이', '그' and '저' are demonstrative pronouns similar to 'this' and 'that'. Although English has two types of demonstrative pronouns, Korean has three.
