Brothers best friend is one my least favorite tropes. You can't help who you fall in love with and I don't think it's a bad thing unless it's an ex. That being said, Dirty D-Man is a brother's best friend story so I went in thinking I might not like it but I should have known. Mira Lyn Kelly has a way of turning everything into a good story and she did it again with Dirty D-Man. Piper has had a crush on Bowie since she was a preteen and he came into her life through her brother and hockey about 12 years ago. Bowie sees Piper as his best friend’s little sister and became attracted to her after he went away to play hockey and didn’t see her for a few years. She grew up and now things have changed. This leads to disappointment, hurt feelings, frustrated feelings, and maybe a little betrayal of that infamous bro code. I ended up liking this story a lot because good writing can change your mind. I'm giving this book four stars and I recommend it to hockey romance lovers everywhere.

Dirty D-Man is the latest book in the Slayers Hockey series by Mira Lyn Kelly. This is the book I didn't even know how much I needed in my life. I mean, don't get me wrong, I know I wanted Bowie and Piper's story, but damn! I didn't expect to fall hard and fast for them both. This is a totally forbidden, best friend's sister romance and I loved every second of it. I couldn't love this couple more and I have to admit it's one of my favorites of the series!
