I stumbled upon the first book by accident and read it in one go. Then quickly went through the next one. Was so intrigued that pre-ordered the last one. Having read the other books by the author I had high expectation from it and I wasn't disappointed. The twists and turns were not predictable and the character developments were good too. Ridley's journey to self discovery was penned beautifully.

As a dedicated fan of Rachel Morgan's books I was excited to see a new series pop up... just disappointed when I had to wait for it to be finished. The wait was worth it though and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. Rachel writes in a way that makes characters believable and relatable even in a fantasy world. Her stories are original and get you intrigued from the start.
