Ratings and reviews

Lovecraft repeatedly wrote that what the main characters see or hear is horrific, but I didn't get that impression. On top of it I don't fancy writer who explicitly write of horrific visions. I very much prefer authors who describe the vision in such a way that i perceive them as horrific.
