Wonderful story about all of gods creatures. I probably never would have read it if i hadnt seen it on the acadamy awards ,but im sure glad i did. Beautiful story!

I watched the movie and did not think i would be as deeply involved with the book. I am glad i was proven wrong. It delves so deep into everyone. You get so much more than what the movie could portray. You connect so deeply to each character. And surprisingly, you understand the inner machinations of strickland. I find that you pity him a bit. Loved this book. Would give it more stars if i could.
