“Women in an emotionally abusive marriage do not need another book on how to have a good marriage; those books rub salt in raw wounds. No, they desperately need this book so that they can diagnose just how bad their marriage is and then, with Leslie’s clear expertise, develop a plan that will either begin to turn their marriage around...or give them a wise route of escape.”
—Dee Brestin, author of Idol Lies and The Friendships of Women

Anyone can say that if they're not getting their way or aren't happy about something that they're being emotionally abused. I went through that with my ex-wife. I loved her and still love her. But when someone is convinced of something like this its impossible most times to prove it one way or another. But a woman saying this just as a way to get out of the marriage is bogus!!

The book has been the best instrument for me to help those in marriage crises. I thank the author for nailing it on the head when some people do wrong things to destroy their marriages and blame the other partner than looking at self first

This book was the hope and direction that I needed! Both for the potential rescue of my marriage, and the guarenteed rescue of myself inside of my marriage. Validation and Godly counsel. It helped me so much.
