I came here to buy a book on investment. After a long preface and the first chapter I felt like reading someone's biography. Eventually not even a glimpse of investment in the free sample that would encourage me to buy this. Why dont they keep biographies separate from investment priciples? Such a waste of time and ink.

A very good book on investing principles. Its like a driver's guide book on how to drive but not how to get there.

PHILIP A. FISHER began his career as a securities analyst in 1928, and founded Fisher & Company, an investment counseling business, in 1931. He is known as one of the pioneers of modern investment theory.
