I always enjoyed maya's Works.They were very intricate, detailed funny and witty. the love for her son Braxton was really intricate and she gave some detailed information about her family thought that was very interesting

Maya Angelou's writing is timeless. She was able to describe so many different emotions beautifully. I may not have gone through the same pain and mistreatment or even had some of the same joys but by the end of the reading, I had a better understanding.

About the author
Maya Angelou was raised in Stamps, Arkansas. In addition to her bestselling autobiographies, including I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and The Heart of a Woman, she wrote numerous volumes of poetry, among them Phenomenal Woman, And Still I Rise, On the Pulse of Morning, and Mother. Maya Angelou died in 2014.
