About this ebook

An unforgettable coming of age novel for fans of 13 Reasons Why, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Fifteen-year-old Jeff wakes up on New Year’s Day to find himself in the hospital—specifically, in the psychiatric ward.

Despite the bandages on his wrists, he’s positive this is all some huge mistake. Jeff is perfectly fine, perfectly normal; not like the other kids in the hospital with him.

But over the course of the next forty-five days, Jeff begins to understand why he ended up here—and realizes he has more in common with the other kids than he thought.

“With a sprinkling of dark humor and a full measure of humanness, Suicide Notes is quirky, surprising, and a riveting read.” —Ellen Hopkins, author of The You I’ve Never Known and Love Lies Beneath

“Like the very best teen novels, Suicide Notes is both classic and edgy, timeless and provocative.” —Brent Hartinger, author of Geography Club

“Makes a powerful emotional impact.” —Publishers Weekly (starred review)

“Jeff’s wit and self-discovery are refreshing, poignant, and, at times, laugh-out-loud funny.” —School Library Journal

Great book, I couldn't stop reading it until I finished it. I didn't like the way the story turned out, was really hoping it stayed straight from the start, but it got a bit off the rails which took me off guard. Personally it felt forced into the story and just came out of nowhere. Still a great book to read and it just shows you can't judge a book by its cover. Also it gave me another reason to lock my doors at night.

I read the book, last year And the book is awesome and beautifully written. The author uses easy to understand situations which to me makes the book worth while. Honestly, after reading this I've felt more compelled to try and understand the human mind. I just feel teens especially "troubled " teens should read this. Meh. Just my opinion .

I've never read a book this fast. The writing was superb and engrossing. I love the way Jeff thinks, I could totally relate. The dialogue wasn't "cliche" as Jeff himself likes to mention, and it subverted a lot of things common in these types of 'suicidal' books. I also didn't expect Jeff's reason for his suicide attempt and his actions with Rankin, so I enjoyed the surprise. Even though the other characters weren't expanded much upon, I'm fine with it and it makes sense since this is Jeff's story.
