a good attempt as a 1st novel. starts out a bit stiff, but improves along the way. retired SEAL joins a hearing impaired teacher as she searches for a missing student who seems to have been kidnapped

Enjoyed this suspense filled and exciting book! I don't normally read or like stories that involve anything related to the military world, but the first few pages were captivating and I couldn't stop. it transported me to another world while reading and I couldn't stop. I recommend this book for those who enjoy a sweet, fast paced journey, it was a great book!
