Griffin really took it all the way. Yet another enlightening testimony that every home book shelf should have and every high school student should be required to read.

This wonderful book gives insight to anyone who reads it. It brings an insight that you would never be able to understand without the details articulated by the authur. The inhunane way a race of men were and still are treated, makes me understand the anger , love, and above all resiliance of these men.

It's been a long while since I read it but it synced with what black writers had written about the black American experience. The death threats and harassment the author received after his story came out was also horrendous and not unlike what happens on social media today.
