This is an awful book that is terribly written and horribly told. It is about the kidnapping of a former president's daughter. Yet, it is the most stale, boring and monotonous story ever. The main character, Matt, the former president is annoying, ugly and unlikable. He seems like a clueless character that knows nothing about anything that is going on around him. He is also foul-mouthed. He drags the story down and makes it disturbingly boring to read. The writing is atrocious and vulgar throughout the book. All the characters are potty-mouths and the descriptions are horrendous. Reading and imagining the events of this book was grueling. Overall, this book was terrible.

Although a little long, this was a good read. Much better than the last few Patterson releases and better than the first time these two gentlemen worked together.

Not highbrow literature but a pretty good page turner.
