About the author

Pearl committed her life to Jesus Christ at the age of forty after being involved in bible study with wonderful women who taught her what it meant to be Christian. Her life seemed to be in shambles; her marriage was in shambles and not improving. She felt in her heart there was something missing. She attended a woman’s conference with the bible study group of ladies and gave her life to Jesus Christ. All the chaos seemed to start falling into place. Christ came in and gave her the desire and the heart to face what was wrong in her life—fixing a marriage that she thought was ending; facing tragic childhood issues and turning them into testimonies for the Lord.

Not being raised in church or with believers, this was all new to her. Pearl had gone to college and had achieved a top-notch education, so learning was not new to her. As a new Christian, she got all the information she could and begun to delve deep into the word. One of the first lessons learned was that you can get lost in all the information. Another lesson was to ask God for direction and to question when something did not settle correctly. Whenever Pearl came across some questionable information that did not sit well, she asked God to direct her to go deeper or move on.

After ten years of study and God-building a new person from the inside out, she began teaching the Bible to women in a way she felt brought yesterday’s lessons into today’s woman. Feeling that other women could benefit from her journey and the testimonies of others on what God did in their lives, she sought to offer an avenue of hope and awareness to help other women.

Pearl resides with her husband in mid-south Georgia. She has a BSBA from Tri-State University and an MBA in international business operations from the University of Phoenix. She has taken Theological courses at Liberty University. They have a blended family of five boys, several grandchildren, and a few great grandchildren. Both are involved in the Dynamic Joy ministry as well as motorcycle ministry.
