Really enjoyed the book. A little bit of a slow start but the characters are complex and the story is pretty good. The highlight was the last few issues. One of the best Iron Man fighting scenes I have ever seen.

Art style is stunning and very detailed! Beautiful to look at! But the story is incredible. Violent, dark, bloody, gory, full of knowledge, Philosophy, moral and science as a good Iron Man story should be. Totally worths every penny.

The Extremis run by Warren Ellis is actually a good jumping point for readers who don't wish to read the old comics. It contains glompses into Tony Stark's past, and will give readers a good idea of how the iron man came into being.
