I'm in the 5th grade and I don't usually like reading but this book really entertained me. Great book for ages 10-12

Good first person account, most read for world War 2 enthusiast.

Great book with vivid details and great attention grabbers. I've read the book since I was in 1st grade and I'm now in 8th and I've read it at least 4 times a year. Truly recommend this book.

The late Walter Dean Myers was the 2012-2013 National Ambassador for Young People's Literature. He was the critically acclaimed New York Times bestselling author of an award-winning body of work which includes Somewhere in the Darkness, Slam!, and Monster.
