About the author
John Wagner nació en Pensilvania en 1949. Comenzó su carrera en el editorial DC Thomson & Co. en la década de 1960, antes de convertirse en escritor independiente y editor de IPC en 1970. Ha trabajado para el público infantil y femenino con cómics de aventuras. Sin embargo, es más conocido por sus cómics de acción. Ayudó a lanzar la publicación Battle Picture Weekly, donde escribió Darkie’s Mob. Ha trabajado para la revista 2000 AD en la que creó numerosos personajes, entre ellos el popular Juez Dredd junto con el artista Carlos Ezquerra.
