OK, so my issue with all of the Kerrigan books is the lack of continuity. I enjoy the plot and really like the characters, but sometimes the writing is a bit sloppy, with changed names and even changed events on occasion! it's just sloppy and it makes me frown while reading. Another thing that bugged me was the language used; for a story set in England with English characters, too many American words were used: pants instead of trousers, street instead of road. I also agree with a previous reviewer's comment that the ending felt rushed. it was like 6 books worth of build-up followed by an anti-climatic "oh ok then". This is why I dropped a star. Lazy writing.

The end fight felt a bit rushed compared to the cromfield fight. especially when they bring up simon taking a bullet for gabriel but not going into anything else.

Definitely worth the wait! W.J. May's Kerrigan Series is the best! Hope they make movie series with it!
