it was very great at explaining why the astounding result of the trial was not guilty. I relished in the prosecutors critiques , especially since they walked away like stars benefitting for years off their failure unapologetically . I understood where the defense made blunders but do think they did better than the average lawyer who rarely puts up such a fight and let's the defendant get sentenced the same as the d.a planned in the beginning while the lawyer pretends to be trying to make a difference. The verdict showed the defense at least tried , even if it was grasping at straws . I also could've gone without the venture into speculating on if God exists, that wasn't implied to be part of the book at purchase. it was very educational about court proceedings and laws but at times I wanted to skip forward and it felt a chore to get through a point. a good book though when you are curious how did oj actually go free.

A really interesting take on the OJ Simpson case by someone with zero
patience with the prosecution. Yes, Bugliosi has a big ego and it shows,
but it's also very clear that he knows what he's talking about. I was
unable to put this book down.

It's a rare event when you get hooked on a book from the first few pages of the first chapter of a book. This well written book did just that.
