This book was not written to tell the tragic tale of Esmeralda, Quasimodo, or Dom Claude Frollo like some like to believe. Instead, its to tell the story of Notre Dame herself, and to make people more aware of its gorgeous history and architecture, or at least thats what I believe. Other then my opinion, its a beautiful piece of art that I will read again and again.
