Lorne Bennett used to be a quite famous movie star, until that fateful day when his wife was found murdered in their Manhattan apartment and he became the prime suspect. Valentine Cardinale, a Columbia Graduate School of Journalism graduate, had a long, successful career in magazine publishing before becoming a full-time fiction writer. This is his second novel.
