About this ebook

The “highly entertaining and thoroughly reprehensible” #1 New York Times bestseller—now with sixteen pages of photos and a new introduction (The New York Times).

My name is Tucker Max, and I am an asshole. I get excessively drunk at inappropriate times, disregard social norms, indulge every whim, ignore the consequences of my actions, mock idiots and posers, sleep with more women than is safe or reasonable, and just generally act like a raging dickhead. But, I do contribute to humanity in one very important way: I share my adventures with the world. --from the Introduction

Actual reader feedback:

"I find it truly appalling that there are people in the world like you. You are a disgusting, vile, repulsive, repugnant, foul creature. Because of you, I don’t believe in God anymore. No just God would allow someone like you to exist."

"I’ll stay with God as my lord, but you are my savior. I just finished reading your brilliant stories, and I laughed so hard I almost vomited. I want to bring that kind of joy to people. You’re an artist of the highest order and a true humanitarian to boot. I'm in both shock and awe at how much I want to be you."

I must say he knows woman well. So well he almost abuses it. He knows this and says he is a bad person in the book. Many things he claims he has never done again. The story's are hilarious and I find similarities to stories of my life and friends (minus the drinking all the time). Everyone has funny stories. I think these stories were warnings to all the guys out there, especially ones like him.

Seriously you don't have to like the author but I find it funny that many people say his stories are fake. In his newest book he even gives photographic evidence of his exploits. If you don't believe such things are possible and that such people exist in our society I can only imagine how incredibly boring and mundane you and your lives must be. This book is hilarious and entertaining. Get over yourselves and enjoy it's content. I seriously lol'ed at this and you will to if you have a sense of humor at all.

I bought this book several years ago because I had heard/read some of the jems in this book. Those stories are available online for free. There are some meh stores and there are some stories that just make me mad. I had had enough with the no fat chicks story where he wanted to toss a (by his own account) lovely woman out of his window because he couldn't face the prospect of his friends knowing he had relations with a fat girl. I don't know if he did because I stopped reading and never went back.

About the author

Tucker Max received his B.A. from the University of Chicago, where he graduated in 1998. He attended Duke Law School on an academic scholarship, where he graduated with a J.D. in 2001 (despite the fact that he neglected to buy any of his textbooks for his final two years and spent part of one semester—while still enrolled in classes—living in Cancun). Tucker is purportedly the reason Duke dropped from 7 to 11 in the USN&WR rankings during his tenure. He currently lives in Los Angeles, and when he isn't drinking or fornicating, he writes for his website, TuckerMax.com.
