After the excellent set up in Vol 1, Vol 2 picks up with Mirai and Saki learning the extent of their given powers. However, tensions soon rise, as the ruthless Metropolitan demonstrates his cunning and relentlessness to eliminate the remaining candidates. A sense of desperation and urgency is felt, as Mirai conflicts with his inner demons, with an ending that will have the reader eagered for more.
