I actually read the 3rd book first while I was in jail for a failure to appear. This book helped me in so many ways in those two and a half days while trapped in that small cell. I began to pray again, and trust God instead of worrying about the present and future. I sought out the series the day after I was released, and bought all 4 e-books. Thank you, Tracie, for placing the seed of Truth back into my heart. To God be the Glory. Peace be with you!

Tracie does a good job of depicting life in a time that has passed by. She does it in a way that compels you to read on. She gives you characters that evolve as the story unfolds. She also shows you lives being changed by the love of Jesus.

From the time you begin you can not put this book down! I was drawn in to the story, laughed, cried..felt past of the story. Awesome book!

Tracie Peterson is a full-time author who has written or co-written over fifty novels in both historical and contemporary genres, including the WESTWARD CHRONICLES, the YUKON QUEST and the SHANNON SAGA series.

Tracie also teaches writing workshops at a variety of conferences on subjects including inspirational romance and historical research. She and her family live in Montana.
