An almost perfect blend of theory and practice. The videos are the icing on the cake, informative and entertaining. If you have a FB account you even get to join a live interactive community (as a confirmed luddite I don't have a FB account, so I can't comment on that side of it!). This is NOT just another book on photography, it is a comprehensive introduction to photography, with support.

I purchased the book on my android a couple years ago and noticed I haven't reviewed it...what Tony does is just great...it's like you have your own photography class and you are the only student..there are alot of videos and at the end of each chapter ,tells you how to practice and what to do...only thing better ,would stay in Tonys and Chelsea's house for a weekend ..and have a one on one class...figure I can bring some good beer and some of my moonshine as payment.. :)..j/k..

All you need to know to get going in photography. Has made me look at everyday things in a new way, looking at light, how it casts shadows, reflects and is used professionally. So much to learn in the book and through video. Worth the low price.
