This is a nice and short adaptation of RotJ for focus a on young readers. The author narrates the book and often addresses the reader. He makes statements or conclusions abut events to help the reader along but an adult (and probably older kids) will be able to draw the same conclusions with his aid because the book is an easy read. Despite being an adult, I chose to read it because the list of books within canon is short. This didn't offer much that wasn't already known in the old canon but this may be a decent read for someone just entering the Star Wars universe and wish to have a clear insight of the character's minds. Such as: when did Luke create his own lightsaber; when did Vader become Anakin (before or after Luke chose not to join the Emperor); how was the relationship between Vader and the Emperor; and many other insights that most fans assume but really don't know-know.

So much better than i expected. The empire strikes back so do u want to be a jedi was horrible but this really makes up for it. I encourage star wars fans to read this book i think u will enjoy it.
