This book would suit the purpose in the printed form, however, the maps and charts are scanned in at such low resolution that some are illegible and the remainder are difficult to read - even when zoomed in. You will be disappointed if you are looking for clear maps and charts. As for content, the book gives a nice and brief historical and geographical context for the scriptures - not too intellectual perfect for the layman. The charts are great, but the maps are small and lacking in detail. If this is what you are looking for, buy the printed book, not the e-book.

So I was told this was a great resource to help me with bible college and it is. I only got it a few days ago and had a quick look at it. It has a heap of useful information in it. I know I will be using this a lot.

Great collection of maps and commentaries, but I wish I could place it as an icon on my phone so as to access it more easily.
