Abdullah Yusuf Ali (1872–1953) was an Indian Islamic scholar. In 1938, Yusuf Ali's translation of the Qur'an was published in Lahore. His translation of the Qur'an is one of the most widely-known and used in the English-speaking world. He died in 1953 in London, United Kingdom.

I could've downloaded this book for free from various Islamic sites on the Web. Instead I decided to purchase it from Google play, Now, I cannot read the book because is in ACSM format and not PDF format. I would have to purchase another software from Adobe in order to convert it. Makes no sense.

A great interpretation!!! I have several interpretations of " The Holy Quran," and the notes accompanying the verses are priceless. I'm currently reading it slowly and I have an understanding that escaped me in my readings of other interpretations. I strongly recommend this Qur'an above all others!!! it's making me a better Muslim, husband, and father. all praise to Allah!!!
