Not only were they the first ever group to have four consecutive number one hits in a row on the Billboards top 100 chart.But the first group to spawn a cartoon series after them as well.Both Michael and Jermaine had solo singles that charted well and even Jackie released a solo album himself on Motown records. I love the other family groups, such as the Sylvers and the Osmonds,but there has never been a family group that compares to the J5. They are and always will be the standard family group in the music industry. period!
