I have to say...I have been a Terry Brooks fan for 18 years and I have read his books in order...the way he has progressed the story from original series to this series was great...he tied in the Night of the Word books into this world perfectly. No other author has caught my attention and engrossed me as these have. I look forward to future books. Thank you Terry!!

I first read the shannara series back in the early 80's. I picked them back up a couple months ago and I have not been able to stop. I want to know all of it!

Definitely a great read. Terry does it again. Only 1 thing that gets to me is the ending chapters feel rushed. Hopefully it was rushed because he had to get back to writing the next book after "measures of magic" can't wait to see how today's world is finally finished connecting to the four lands in the start of shannara series. :)
