This the 3rd book of the trilogy. A story with my favorite Knight of the Word (when you read the trilogy, you will understand). In reality this trilogy is the very beginning of the Sword of Shannara series. If you read epic stories in chronological order this is the starting gate. The fairy creature that tends to the park is by far my favorite. Start with book #1 "Running with the Demon".

Like all the Terry Brooks books I enjoyed it very much, though when I read the first book in this series I thought he was going to tie Jared back into the story maybe as a knight of the word. Alas he didn't to bad
