Ratings and reviews

I binged all 15 books. The final book seemed a bit rushed, in my opinion. Taylor Anderson builds this entire universe up, a technological arms race with a span of various characters, yet we know nothing of their fates beyond a hasty ending. While the battle were detailed and the narrative flowed smoothly, the audience could tell something would be rushed as pages dwindled. As expected, Anderson jumps wildly between plot points, gives little respect to those characters that made it far in the books only to just die. Taylor doesn't know what to do towards the end. Basically, it just feels like a mash of various plot points thrown together because after 14 books and writers fatigue, who'll notice? All in all, the book just ends with no post war epilogue on the fates of those who survived the war. There is no closure on anything or anyone. What about the Volcanoes? What about Cook, McDonald? What about the Grand Alliance and the League threat? Much is still left to ponder and wonder.

Laughed heartily, tears streamed, anger twisted my face, surprise rocked me, people I cared about died, I came to like people I hated, all the while suffering some things in our real world. Thanks Taylor, I appreciate this wonderful experience. God bless you, and fair winds, and following seas.
