I knew this was gonna be good when I started reading it, but I was not prepared for it to be this good! It's turned me into a lifelong Tatsuki Fujimoto fan, and I'm grateful! This series draws you in with its insane premise and stunning artwork and keeps you there with its emotionally complex characters and action-packed story. What starts off as a kid trying to live a comfortable life by the means available to him quickly turns into a question: how far can he (or will he) go to keep what he's found, and what is he gonna do along the way? Well, he's gonna grow frickin chainsaws out of his arms and hack things into bloody pieces, among those things being: devils, fiends, corrupted humans, enemies, allies, and most of all, your heart. Please read it, no description can really do it justice - and be prepared for one helluva ride!

I've heard the hype about this series for over a year or so but I was reading so many different manga and comic titles I have just now gotten to it. It is uniquely familiar if I can make that leap. its a terrifyingly chaotic world shared by humans, devils and many combinations/variants of the two(From what I've read thus far). Murder, violent crimes, destructive shows of power, collateral damage, corruption and of course devils are part of everyday life. The powerful prey on the weak and fight over territory, money, and power with each other. The weak do what they must to survive and care for their families. This includes crime of course but they are also put into impossible, dangerous, and deadly circumstances for little money. In the middle of all the chaos, we meet Denji, a guy free of greed, lofty goals or even self-preservation. He's content with very little and has all he needs in his "pet". He's forced into conflict when he inherits a debt w/yakuza. a unique story unfolds here
