About this ebook

The thrilling prequel to the New York Times–bestselling Summoner series!

When stable boy Arcturus accidentally summons a demon and becomes Hominum's first common summoner, he becomes the key to a secret that the powerful overlords would do anything to keep hidden.

Whisked away to Vocans Academy so he can be kept watch over, Arcturus finds himself surrounded by enemies. But he has little time to settle in before his life is turned upside down once again, for Hominum Empire is in turmoil.

Rebellious intent simmers among the masses, and it will not be long before it boils over. Arcturus must choose a side . . . or watch an Empire crumble.

This is literally the side story origins, just expanded upon. Like I wish this author would just write a new series or be like pitticus lore with the "I am number 4" series and do a sequel series like years later on with new characters....it's a huge world u made, why do prequels when u know where it leads to?

Ive bought the physical copy of the entire series. And I loved each book but trying to go back and read this one was a bit taxing. Dont get me wrong its a good book. But after reading through the other books and then coming to this one it makes it a little had to get through it. Though thats just me. Its still a decent book.

great book though I wish it continued the original story, I think we all wanted to know if Fletcher and silver are eventually able to get married or have a life together
