Good read with a couple of twists at the end. Just purchased book 2. Preferred Angela Marsons books which are similar.

A bit gory for me but the story line was good. The twist about the identity of the protagonists lover was a good one.

What a fantastic first case for a new DCI exciting keeps you on the edge of your seat, I read this book in 3 days, Can't wait for the next case. Brilliant!!!!!!!! 5*********

She successfully self-published the first two novels in the DCI Claire Winters series in 2013 before being picked up by Carina UK.
