i am in 9th grade and read the series for an honors english assignment, i finished the whole series in about 3 days and i can honestly say i did not like it at all. this is a series meant for people under 10 years old. it repetitive in narration and for god's sake he is 11! should he be so mature and knowledgable? maybe it wouldnt bother me so much if he were 16 or something. my favorite character was probably ripred and even then i don't like him that much. basically i just disliked…everything. :/

I have never once like any book or series of books in my life. This series however... is the absolute best thing ever! Would recommend to anyone who would like to get into reading.

5 stars, as an adult I can totally see teens and under getting completely immersed in this. Great for my spring break light-reading; which was all I intended.
