Finding Elodie is a superb romantic suspense by Susan Stoker. Ms. Stoker has created a fantastic cast of characters for this story. Elodie is a chef on the run from the mob. Scott is a Navy SEAL and he and his team meet Elodie when the ship she is on is taken over by pirates. Elodie and Scott's story is packed with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. This is the first book of another great series from Susan Stoker. El proved that there is no truth to "I am just a cook". A page turner and a romance. A band of brothers who will have their own books in the future. Loved the band of brothers and I am looking forward to their stories as well. Note: Susan Stoker is one of the few authors I buy a series at a time (and, yes, I have many series by her, have reread most of them (fun characters with moments of love and seriousness) and plan to buy more). Bravo!! I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a great book and an excellent start to this new series. An enticing blend of action, suspense and romance flows through this edge of your seat and has you swooning read. I thought that Elodie and Scott (Mustang) worked beautifully as a couple and I was completely invested in them from their very first meeting. I thought both were exceedingly likable and in my opinion you really had to feel for Elodie. If you prefer your romance with a healthy side order of excitement, this book is just what you are looking for. This is my independent, impartial review.
