Great narrative. See how an urban family handles the abrupt loss of electrical power and and subsequent chaos. Action packed and very well written. Starting Book 2, now.

Survival following a nuclear bombing whilst a family from the USA just arrives to vacation in a remote Irish village. A sort of returning to the old ways and defending one's family against all odds. A nice change.

A great read. I love the Irish people and the countryside. The book was a realistic story of what could happen to our world in today's political strife.
