This is the first Stephen King that I've read. I was a little unprepared for the intensity of the book, but the character development and incredible story keep me coming back for more. Really enjoyed.

As always writing rates from Good to Great.I like close ground view of the 'train tracks' wiith a long distant 'pine tree line' on either side.The title is below the tree line,while the authors name is above in a bright blue&white sky.A nice cover for another 'Classic Read'!!

About the author

Stephen King is the author of more than sixty books, all of them worldwide bestsellers. His recent work includes the short story collection You Like It Darker, Holly, Fairy Tale, Billy Summers, If It Bleeds, The Institute, Elevation, The Outsider, Sleeping Beauties (cowritten with his son Owen King), and the Bill Hodges trilogy: End of Watch, Finders Keepers, and Mr. Mercedes (an Edgar Award winner for Best Novel and a television series streaming on Peacock).
